Coronavirus Advisory

TUESDAY MARCH 31 THROUGH SUNDAY APRIL 5, 2020 (EFFECTIVE 5:00PM MONDAY 3/30/20)

TO ALL MARYLAND MARINA CUSTOMERS

GENERAL STATEMENT: As a result of Governor Larry Hogan’s “Stay at Home Order”. The offices, store and service department will be closed through Sunday 4/05/20. On that date we will reassess our status. This advisory supersedes Advisory 3 emailed on 3/29/20.

MARINA: As always, you will continue to have access to your boat. Please be sure to bring your gate card to enter and exit the marina property. As a reminder, VIOLATIONS OF THE GOVERNOR’S “STAY AT HOME ORDER” CARRIES A $5,000.00 FINE.

OFFICES: We will be conducting business offsite. Inquiries can be sent to info@marylandmarina.net or wayne@marylandmarina.net.

SERVICE: Brian will be working offsite and responding to emails sent to service@marylandmarina.net. No launchings or services will be performed during this period.

PARTS: For the time being parts orders and inquiries can be sent to Brian at service@marylandmarina.net. We will not be ordering or receiving parts shipments to the office this week.

PAYMENTS: During this crisis, we hope to avoid layoffs of any of our staff. This will ensure that we are ready to go as soon as possible. To accomplish this goal, we will have to rely on a continuation of cash flow. The easiest way to pay any outstanding bill would be through the mail. We do not recommend sending your credit card information by email. You can write your card information on a copy of your invoice or statement and mail it. As always, a check is acceptable.

OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS: Several of our customers use outside contractors to perform various services to their boats. Please advise your contractor, that during this period, no one will be in the office to let them in or out of the marina grounds or provide them with your keys.

No doubt this pandemic will cause a delay in the start of the boating season. For now, stay home and stay safe. We want to see everybody well and healthy when things return to normal.
